The 30th Bangkok Motor Show 2009 was held at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Center (BITEC) from the 26th March - 6 April 2009. There are 11 countries participate in the car show together with their best hot car girls. Over the 12 days, 130 companies from 11 countries put their best automobiles on show. And off course, a great car show can’t lack any sweet car girls or pretty car girls, and some of Thailand’s cutest models and dancers were there to add more colors to the car show.

| After the bad news about the International Motor Expo 2006 at the IMPACT center last year I was ready to skip this year's Bangkok International Auto Show at BITEC. The bad news was that all the exhibitors had decided to tone down the booth babe scene. It had become quite wild in previous years, sort of an arms race to see who could outdo everybody else with sexier outfits and shows. But then they decided to end all that. After watching coverage on TV I decided on a personal boycott. And then the show at BITEC rolls around and TV coverage showed the same effect, boring booth babes. But the difference is that there are four venues around the BITEC center, the main hall has the cars and trucks, the secondard hall has the motorcycles, a big tent houses accessories, and there is a large outdoor car audio area open at night. The main hall was the boring part. But the other areas were still good. And that is where I went and snapped some photos. As always, the crowds, lighting and movement (think wild dancing) make getting good photos difficult. But there are a few. Penginnya mencari next generation Yamaha MX yang bisa diboyong sosoknya ke dalam negri, eh yang ketemu malah Yamaha Spark RX, yang kalo di dalam negri disebut New Jupiter Z dengan ubahan yang cuma facelift dikit-dikit wae. So , buat obat kecewa di Gelaran Bangkok Motorcycle show 2009 kali ini sebaiknya melototin dua maskot Yamaha yang menarik buat disimak. Ini maskot prototype pabrikan garpu tala yang punya segudang inovasi. setidaknya masih punya taring nih Yamaha ditahun ini…
YAMAHA NAAS 1
Yamaha Thailand memperkenalan motor konsep istimewa yang punya nama Yamaha NaaS 1 (jangan dibaca nasi lho? He.he..he..) Konsep motor ini berbasis matic yang tampil dengan desain futuristik macam motor sport. Didukung suspensi modern kombinasi cantilever single sided fork serta mono pro link shock yang dinamai Dynamic Motion Suspension. Tidak hanya itu, NaaS 1 juga pantas digolongkan dalam cruise model berkat desain bodi-nya yang horisontal datar. Anyway yang jelas Cuma buat bikin ngiler, cause Cuma maskot sebagai wakil keunggulan tehnologi pabrikan Yamaha
YAMAHA Ei
Satu lagi konsep bike bikinan Yamaha yang inovatif. Yang satu ini macam telur saat dilipet, namanya Yamaha Ei. Tampil dengan mengusung konsep motor harian masa depan. Tidak tampak sudut bersegi di setiap sisinya, karena hanya mengedepankan konsep lengkungan yang cantik.
